   1) Was it a credential problem or connectivity
   2) If you have the automatic protocol, indicate the protocol that has failed, as they fail, and how they failed

   Also there was a problem with my app, that the username/password was corrupted, and rather than give simple feedback, it just did a "computer says no"

9. Streamline the resetting of the Kill Switch to regain internet connection

   The Kill Switch works perfectly; however I would like to see the reconnection process simplified to make it less cumbersome.

   At the moment, once the connection is lost, you have to 1) close the warning window; 2) Go to Preferences; 3) uncheck the Activate Internet Kill Switch check box; 4) Recheck the checkbox; 5) close the "internet restored" message (or wait for it to close on its own); 6) go back to the Main Page; and finally, 7) click the Connect button.

   Most of these steps could be eliminated with a Kill Switch reset button, perhaps on the Main Page. It would only be visible on the Main Page if the Kill Switch checkbox was checked.

   I perform all 7 steps quite often and I would like to see it simplified if you can. It would make the product more user-friendly.

11. Add support for strongSwan (IPsec/IKEv2)

    In order to have more options (protocols) to available when users are struggling with the Chinese Great FireWall, add support for strongSwan (https://www.strongswan.org/ & also more information on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StrongSwan). StrongSwan clients are available for an ample range of operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, FreeBSD). For Ubuntu users, the client present in their repositories. Also important, the software is open source and free to download! For PureVPN this would be an option to distinguish itself from other VPN providers.

13. Split Tunneling enhancement

    I would like the split tunneling feature to be modified to allow the user to reverse the way it currently needs to be configured. As it is now when split tunneling is select all of the applications that the user wants to go through VPN must be identified. IMO, this is backwards. If one uses VPN to begin with and without split tunneling then by default all traffic goes through the VPN. However, when split tunneling is turned on then by default all traffic will not use VPN. The use of split tunneling should not change the default.

    Because this was implemented in this manner it is probably not feasible to change the way it works without impacting the user base. However, it is possible to change it to allow the user to specify that the process should work in the reverse via a configuration option.

    That would allow the user to specify those application that they do not want to go through VPN, which I believe would be the lesser of the two and require less maintenance. In other words always use VPN regardless of whether or not split tunneling has been selected except for those applications that are identified otherwise.
