Show the Network interface name used by PureVPN within the app
Purevpn creates and connects to network interfaces when the app connects to a VPN server. eg utun, utun1, utun2 etc. The app should show in the application which network interface the app is connected to, and the IP address of that network interface, this is to assist in setting up network bindings in other applications that use the internet through the VPN

Future compatibility
I just restarted my iMac and got a message that my PureVPN will not be compatible with future updates of the Mac OS. That would be after the latest Big Sur version. Is there an update in the makiing to remedy this? Thank you.

Add Secure WiFi for macOS and Windows client (do not activate VPN on trusted WiFi Networks)
Add Secure WiFi for macOS and Windows client (do not activate VPN on trusted WiFi Networks).
This is a great option (PIA clients for macOS and Windows had this option) that permits avoid a VPN connection when your wifi is trusted (i.e. your home WiFi) Please your votes to be considered in a future version of our client.

Exclude local connections on the Mac (timemachine, afp) from VPN Tunnel
please exclude the connections to the local subnet from the tunnel and the lookups to the .local zone. That would make sure that the timemachine backup on a local NAS would still work, as well as the connections to the AFP shares...

Map of available servers
I feel it would be a nice addition to have a map of the available servers. Usually the closer a server is geographically to the client, the better the connection. I feel that a map would greatly help me choose what servers are potentially faster so I can try them out first. Right now, I have to look up the countries one by one to see how close they are to me.

Streaming sites for live TV have different times for different states, or throw a fit if your current location changes, so let us choose a specific city in the US.

Make the connection I marked as "favorite" the default
Every time I start the app, Netherlands is the default. I don't use Netherlands, never have. Please make the app use one of the favorites I selected. Or make it use the last connection.

Invoke the default browser!
Someone has already said this, but the answer was unsatisfactory. When clicking items that leads to the browser in the PureVPN window, make them invoke the default browser set by MacOS - not Safari!
4 votesThanks for the suggestion. This makes complete sense. We’re going to include it in our upcoming Mac app.
