Purevpn creates and connects to network interfaces when the app connects to a VPN server. eg utun, utun1, utun2 etc. The app should show in the application which network interface the app is connected to, and the IP address of that network interface, this is to assist in setting up network bindings in other applications that use the internet through the VPN1 vote

I just restarted my iMac and got a message that my PureVPN will not be compatible with future updates of the Mac OS. That would be after the latest Big Sur version. Is there an update in the makiing to remedy this? Thank you.1 vote
Allow to hide the app icon in the Dock and leave it running only in the menu bar (top).5 votes
Happy to report that this feature has been successfully integrated in our new Mac app. You can download it from here: my.purevpn.com/apps/mac
You can choose to auto-connect using:
1. your preferred location
2. your last used location
3. recommended location
The feature can be easily enabled by going to Settings section in your app.
Please let me know if there is confusion and I’ll be happy to help! :)
I would really like to see an option to auto-reconnect whenever the VPN is dropped for whatever reason.8 votes
Add Secure WiFi for macOS and Windows client (do not activate VPN on trusted WiFi Networks).
This is a great option (PIA clients for macOS and Windows had this option) that permits avoid a VPN connection when your wifi is trusted (i.e. your home WiFi) Please your votes to be considered in a future version of our client.3 votes
please exclude the connections to the local subnet from the tunnel and the lookups to the .local zone. That would make sure that the timemachine backup on a local NAS would still work, as well as the connections to the AFP shares...3 votes
Every time I start the app, Netherlands is the default. I don't use Netherlands, never have. Please make the app use one of the favorites I selected. Or make it use the last connection.15 votes
Hello. Is it possible to obtain a PUREVPN extension:
for SAFARI?13 votes
MacOS has nice new dark mode and PureVPN app looks like it does not belong there6 votes
I feel it would be a nice addition to have a map of the available servers. Usually the closer a server is geographically to the client, the better the connection. I feel that a map would greatly help me choose what servers are potentially faster so I can try them out first. Right now, I have to look up the countries one by one to see how close they are to me.5 votes

Why do we have to remember 2 passwords and login details. Make it like all other sites and apps6 votes
I am excited to announce that this feature is now available! :)
With “Easy Login” you will no longer be asked to remember multiple credentials or difficult usernames like purevpn0s, purevpn0d, etc. Simply use your email address & password to login to your Members Area, PureVPN apps & extensions.
We have been tirelessly working to improve our login process since the last few months so you can get connected to VPN quickly & focus on achieving the desired outcome instead of wasting time trying to setup VPN.
To enable “Easy Login” on your account, simply download the latest app from:

Someone has already said this, but the answer was unsatisfactory. When clicking items that leads to the browser in the PureVPN window, make them invoke the default browser set by MacOS - not Safari!4 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. This makes complete sense. We’re going to include it in our upcoming Mac app.
I have never seen this on any other VPN product and they all work well. It should all be integrated as it is a pain to have to disconnect and switch mode and re connect each time.7 votes
