Split Tunneling needs improvement
I would like to have apps using Split Tunneling to restart when the connection is lost and returns. As it is now if the VPN connection resets the applications utilizing Split tunneling switch to the normal ISP connection.

Auto connect fastest server
there was a feature in the old version that would automatically detect and connect to the fastest server available to the users location. Would be nice to have this feature in the beta

Split Tunneling - Application launcher
when using split tunneling to have only a specific application go through the VPN, such as a Torrent downloader. It seems that you must launch the application from within the PureVPN Settings, Split Tunnel screen.....otherwise it does not use the tunnel.
I am thinking this, because I just recently paid for this VPN specifically for my torrent program, and have been having issues where I am still detected and receive notices about my activity.

Change Icon color based on connection
I wish the TaskBar icon would change color when VPN is connected or disconnected, so that, I can keep the client minimized. The System Tray icon does change color, but hard to notice (between grey and light green). A more bright green when connected would make it easily noticeable.

Not suggesting which "city" to connect to via dashboard
From the dashboard, i typed "united states" and would expect further options like Chicago, Houston etc... no city suggestions were provided.

I noticed the beta version has no ability to check for the fastest servers.
Is there possibility to have the a top ten fastest of the hour list that updates at least?
It would be nice also if unlike the last version after selecting the fastest server search, if it gave the option to choose personally which of the fastest servers you want.

Allow use of default network DNS so we can use PiHole or other local DNS server to block ads
One downside of PureVPN's tunneling all traffic is that it does not allow use of the local DNS settings. For most people and most needs that is good, but systems like PiHole that block DNS queries for certain sites get bypassed because those DNS servers are on the local network. It would be great if we could specify the DNS server, even if it is our external IP address (so we'd have to port forward the DNS query back to our local server). Split Tunneling: Automatically open the app selected in Split Tunneling.
When split tunneling is enabled, automatically open the default app to use tunneling when a VPN connection is established. I don't like having to step 3 screens in to open the app every time.

Allow Users To Use Their Preferred DNS.

The PureVPN app currently has an option “Only Use PureVPN DNS Servers While Connected” under “Advanced Options\Security” … Why not simply add a second option “Only Use Your Preferred DNS” with secondary fields where your users can populate their preferred primary and secondary DNS? You can then program your app to force the users preferred DNS on the tunnel every time it connects.

Display which protocol is being used when "Auto" has been selected
Specifically for the Windows app first, though I'm sure it'll be valuable for other platforms, too. Add a field on the Dashboard that displays which specific VPN protocol is in use when you have chosen "Auto" as the protocol in your settings. Currently, the Dashboard displays "Duration", "Your IP", and "Location:. Please add 1 additional line in the Dashboard that will show "Protocol" and the specific protocol that is in use at that moment.

Connect to VPN automaticly when not connected to trusted Wi-Fi network - mainly on Mobile App for Free Opened Wi-Fi networks on Airports etc
