Several times I have stated that I see no reason to develop a wifi router with vpn built in. But the more I think about it, the more I think that it is a good idea. My own particular needs are a strong 3 band router like Netgear Nighthawk. The situation as I see it is that there are good established wifi router companies with broad product lines and marketing already established. If you can get the right patents to cover you, you might want to approach netgear or another company to joint venture the product. But you are right, there is a need for this type of product.
