We’ve selected you as one of the first to experience it.
Installation Instructions:
- Download the Beta Build
- In Terminal, run this command:
- sudo apt install ~/Downloads/PureVPN_1.0.0_amd64.deb
What you’re going to experience:
- The new PureVPN Linux GUI app eliminates the need for command-line input. PureVPN’s simple and familiar user interface makes internet privacy and security easy.
- One-click dashboard VPN connection.
- PureVPN offers various locations worldwide. Connect via VPN to any country/city of your choice.
- The app lets you examine and manage account details. View and manage PureVPN subscriptions.
- We’re launching the PureVPN GUI App with OpenVPN functionality; you can connect via TCP or UDP.
While using the PureVPN Linux GUI App, I would love you to focus on and share feedback about:
- Connection health and performance
- Are you able to connect to VPN easily?
- How are the download speeds & browsing experience after connecting VPN?
- Does your connection drop automatically?
- App performance
- How does the App feel?
- Is it smooth and functional?
- Is it stable?
Issues to fix:
- The scroll down button on the location screen is not highlighted.
- While establishing VPN connection there is a chance of DNS leak.

I agree with the original poster's opinion that the way Split Tunneling currently works is "completely backwards". EVERYTHING should go through the VPN tunnel by default, and Split Tunneling should be used to select the applications that you "DON'T WANT" going through the VPN. This would make Split Tunneling so much more effective. With the way it currently works now it's useless!
