    I have tried activating PureVPN automatically for Win7 Desktop -- doing so renders
    web browsing almost unusable (I've tried Firefox, Chrome, IE latest, so it's not the
    specific browser). Major sites like Amazon have issues (the pages just sit there, they
    NEVER load into browser). Search sites also almost unusable (links never load).
    Seems this software might be useful only in very specific targetted fashion (and if
    you're not using a web-browser to do the actual interaction). Renders my subscription
    basically useless for day-to-day privacy.

    It really should be much easier (as in almost effortless) to find out the version
    of the installed PureVPN from the dashboard. I'm still looking for mine...
