    Further to my previous message, I closed the Yahoo tab and retried it, this time the page loaded immediately.
    There was no indication as to why it originally didn't load.

    With VPN turned on I was not able to access my Yahoo account.

    I am running:
    - Windows 7
    - Avast free
    - Firefox

    After turning off VPN my Yahoo loaded immediately.
