Your VPN service is wondeful and I have no complaints, but your client for windows (I am using windows 10) leaves a lot to be desired.
Quick connect takes me to random countries even when my last connection was to (Australia - fasterst server) when click the "cancel" button 80% of the time the program hangs and I have to open Tesk manager to kill the process. Even then I get a notification telling me that pure vpn is still running. THat notification actually covers the hidden icons pannel, so I have to close the notification to enter find the purevpn Icon and close it from there. Then I restart. All the while my internet is connected without VPN protection which is obviously the whole reason to pay for a VPN service.
I tried using the BETA internet kill switch. The one time that the switch was triggered I was unable to get "any" internet connection. I uninstalled the program and was at a loss until I remembered to check windows firewall and I had to remove the rules from there so that I could connect to the internet. This is sub-optimal.
I will keep using purevpn for the rest of the month. I don't want to have to try another company as I have had very positive experiences so far, but if I am not offered FULL protection then there is little point in having a VPN at all.
This is only a problem with your client so it's not unfixable. I hope these problems are fixed.
