How do I make PPTP more secure. I recall in 1999 we used to break into PPTP daily to show our banking clients not to use it because the username and pasword flow in the clear and can be picked up via snort on WiFi, or probes.
Please advise. Is the username encrypted, or is this just a way to get around website blocking, but still gives law enforcement the ability to do their work protectiing us.
I understand the movement to stop law enforcement, but I also understand the desire for law enforcement to rescuse hostages etc using intercept. Its a crazy crazy world...
