Limit
The number of times you hear the sound on start is annoying. Please limit it to one sound in case setting up the connection succeeds and one if it fails.

Display which protocol is being used when "Auto" has been selected
Specifically for the Windows app first, though I'm sure it'll be valuable for other platforms, too. Add a field on the Dashboard that displays which specific VPN protocol is in use when you have chosen "Auto" as the protocol in your settings. Currently, the Dashboard displays "Duration", "Your IP", and "Location:. Please add 1 additional line in the Dashboard that will show "Protocol" and the specific protocol that is in use at that moment.
9 votesThis option has been implemented in the new PureVPN app for Windows. After connection, you can view the connected protocol by looking at ‘Connection Details’.
You can download the app from: https://my.purevpn.com/apps/windows

customized mode
There should be a customized mode for user to pick different options such as protocol, encryption, etc. The current 5 modes are all pre-defined which may not cover certain purpose. Thanks.
3 votesHi,
Thanks for your suggestions. You can change protocols and other settings on every mode. From drop down menu, select “Settings” and make changes according to your requirement.

Change Icon color based on connection
I wish the TaskBar icon would change color when VPN is connected or disconnected, so that, I can keep the client minimized. The System Tray icon does change color, but hard to notice (between grey and light green). A more bright green when connected would make it easily noticeable.

I noticed the beta version has no ability to check for the fastest servers.
I noticed the beta version has no ability to check for the fastest servers.
Is there possibility to have the a top ten fastest of the hour list that updates at least?
It would be nice also if unlike the last version after selecting the fastest server search, if it gave the option to choose personally which of the fastest servers you want.
11 votesHi,
Thanks for your suggestion. Our Software does have the ability to search for fastest server.

Favorite Protocol
You should have a way to select a favorite protocol as default. I like IKE or SSTP but every time I switch purposes it resets to PPTP which sucks big time

Auto connect fastest server
there was a feature in the old version that would automatically detect and connect to the fastest server available to the users location. Would be nice to have this feature in the beta

Duration counter resetting after 24 hours
I have noticed this every time the counter reaches 24 hours of connectivity, it resets to 00:00:00. It would be good for the counter not to reset to Zero and to continue its timer until disconnection occurs.

"Modes" should not be tucked inside menu bar.
If it is a big focus for the new windows client then it should be somewhere more prominent in the UI... Such as the options on the left panel of the app.
6 votesHi,
Thanks for your suggestion. We have worked on it and now mode can also be change from home screen.
