I have been in China for nearly a year now. I have other services (free) that I use on occasion when I am unable to get pure VPN to work well. Lately, I have had to turn to them more often. I watch on the dashboard as the "signal" or traffic coming in begins to lower until it is zero. It seems that those who censor have figured out how to reduce the flow of date thru PureVPN. What is Pure doing to find other ways to have an operating VPN in China? Also, I notice on my iPad that I have a choice for something called a personal VPN called IKEv2. What is this and when is it best to use this? Disadvantages?

PureVPN is taking too much time for getting connected with any server (Countries). Also, when we get connected with USA server it set google search HK by default,
Please do the needful asap.

A few suggestions:
- 1. Have an easier user-friendly app on Mac
- 2. The menu bar P(key) have change colours as to whether it is connected or not. There is no way to see if you are connected without clicking on it. If it were red for unconnected and green for connected it would be easy to see your status without entering the app
- 3. Be able to change your username on the actual app, to something I can remember rather than the username you gave me.
- 4. When it disconnects automatically it would reconnect automatically. It is a pain to keep having to put in my password.

I am using the Pure VPN client on a Mac. Would it be possible to have a "Hide Dialer" button added to the client (possibly next to the "Disconnect") button so that one does not have to click on the client's icon on the menu bar in order to be able to hide the dialer?

Dear sir/madam
Im one of your customer in mainland China and im new to VPN.
I bought this product to unblock websites,however i found that the connection is very unstable.It automatically disconnected every 5-10 minutes.
I tried fastest HK/US/UK servers and the problem is still there.
What's wrong in there?What settings should I use? -

Cannot connect to server unless I try several times. Even then connection fails and drops and need to reconnect.

if you make a VPN router, you really need a portable travel router that serves Wi-Fi. this way while you're travelling or at hotels, you will always have an encrypted VPN session for anonymity/unblocked websites/etc.
