Show connection status of PureVPN client in menu bar
Make symbol appear eg. 'green' if connected and 'red' if not connected.

errrr using latest mac version and have a reminder if connection not active but no way of showing like this simply idea with colours - so obvious this was if connected or not!

Right click your VPN (once added to status bar) and click show connection status.
