I agree and support this idea. Other service provider like VPNSecure also come with such option to allow the apps establishing the VPN connection automatically whenever the mobile bootup. (you can preset the desired VPN servers from your favorite server pool)
This is really useful and a concern approach focusing on the security & privacy enhancement.
