Renewing Subscriptions By Accepting Online Offer
When I recently renewed my old 2 year subscription by accepting the online offer of 5 years for a lower monthly price, I was thinking that my old membership would be simply extended by another 5 years beginning with the expiry date of my old plan. But I was surprised to find that I had actually been issued a brand new 5 year plan beginning with today's date and expiring 5 years from today -- not from the end of my original 2 year plan. So without knowing it, I had created a totally new account with new dates. This problem needs to be corrected. My intention was to simply extend my old plan. So I think it better for renewing subscribers to do so with the help of either Sales or Technical Support so that this kind of problem will not happen. It took me an extra 1/2 hour to get this problem resolved. It shows a lack of attention to detail on the part of Pure VPN and whoever created the website where the renewals and offers are posted. A simple statement like: "For current subscribers, please contact Sales or Technical Support to take advantage of this offer." could save a lot of time and trouble for both subscribers and busy Support personnel.
